Top 5 Phone Apps that REALLY Save you Money on Organic Groceries

Have you ever gone to the grocery store without a single coupon in hand? (gasp).  I have, and I absolutely hate paying full price for items that I know have coupons out.  I always have my iphone with me though, and my iphone has apps that can save me money at the grocery store! I’m breaking down the top apps that are are MUST to have on your phone!

  1. The first app I’ll talk about is Favado.  Favado is an app that will list all of the sales at grocery stores near you and it’ll list any known coupons out! What what!!  Yes this is real, and I use it.  Why? Because I don’t have the time to comb though every sales flyer to see who has what on sale. I simply open my phone to see what’s on sale and where.  Often I find coupons on Favado that I didn’t know were out.  I love it because it saves me time and money! Go here to sign up for Favado now, and download it to your phone later.
  2. Ibotta. Ohhh Ibotta.  THIS is my favorite money saving app right now.  Why? Because they give rebates on items you’re buying anyway. (Like milk, cheese, etc).  Increments vary from $0.25 to $1.00 depending on the item.  All you do is unlock your rebate, take a picture of your receipt and scan the barcode on the item you’ve bought.  This is the verification system they use.  Then within a day you’ll have the credit in your account!  The great thing about Ibotta is you can use your store coupons then submit your receipt for the Ibotta rebate!  So far, (I’ve been using Ibotta 3 months now), I’ve redeemed $52.75 back on Ibotta.  This money goes into my Paypal account but you can choose to get gift cards as well.  Head here to sign up for Ibotta now.
  3. Berrycart is similar to Ibotta, expect they ONLY feature Organic and natural items.  Yay!  Some of the brand you might not be familiar with, so it’s a nice way to try out new items, and then get a rebate on it!  This app is similar as you will take a picture of your receipt and upload it to get credit.  You can cash out at $5, which is easy to accumulate.
  4. Checkout 51 another rebate app that’s worth having.  I’m currently earning the lowest on this app, mainly because they rarely offer rebates on organic brands.  Each week they offer a rebate on a produce or dairy item, and this is how I’m collecting my money.  Slowly.  Head here to sign up or learn more.
  5. Cartwheel is an app that is specific to Target shoppers.  Cartwheel is a coupon that can be combined with manufacturer coupons and Target coupons.  Essentially you can use 3 forms of coupons on one item to save! (This is why i love Target shopping).  Sign up for the app and download it.  Once you’re up and running, be sure the add items to your saving list.  When you checkout, be sure to have the cashier scan your barcode on your app.  This will deduct the % off your total for specific items you purchase.  If this sounds confusing  just download the app.  Play around and you’ll get it! 🙂

If you’re going to download apps that can and will save you money on your groceries with no coupon clipping needed, these or the apps! I’d love to hear what you think of the apps so please leave comments below! 🙂  Happy saving!Saving-Money-On-Groceries
