Beauty Box 5 Review
If you’ve been following my blog, you know I’m on a quest to try out every box there is out there! 🙂 Beauty box five was awesome and sent me the August box to try! (THANKS…you guys rock)
There’s something fun about getting a surprise box of goodies each month for cheap. I figure I don’t smoke, drink coffee or spend money on other habits so my new habit will be Boxes! AND this one is beauty products so that’s even more exciting! (Side note…every time I get a new box in the mail, Violet (my daughter) has to help me open it because she knows half the time it’s something fun for her! For some reason she thought the polish and lip gloss were for her…she’s 2! It’s hilarious. Anyway here’s my box that arrived:
The August box had two full size beauty products. Nail polish and lip gloss. The Nanacoco Lip Gloss was my favorite and is a great color. It’s a brand I’ve never heard of…but now I’m a fan! (I’m wearing it today, I’ll spare you a picture of my lips!);)
Here’s the list of products that were in my box:
- Novex Brazilian Keratin (Retail Value: $19.50) A deep hair care conditioning treatment is the perfect tool for restoring shine and smoothness to your hair. I’m trying this one out tonight!!!!
- Purlisse Pur~Protect SPF 30 (Retail Value: $55) A popular and pricy SPF moisturizer. I use this sparingly because well…I can’t afford to buy the full size one!
- Style Essentials Nail polish (Retail Value: $7) I love nail polish and am loving this polish! The polish I received was a white confetti like polish, which compliments every shade you own. I used it to paint over my dark blue nails and it came out great (I’m huge fan of adding confetti or glitter colors to my nails because it hides the imperfections of my horrible painting skills)
- La Fresh Travel Lite Facial Cleansing Wipes (Retail Value: $19.99) These cleansing wipes are the perfect size for any girl on the go and anyone traveling! This product is great. I used it last weekend when I went out of town and my makeup just fell off! NO pulling or tugging at my eyes. I want more.
- Nanacoco Lip Gloss (Retail Value: $3.99) I am horrible at finding a good color that works for my skin. Beauty box 5 knows what girls like and chose an awesome color! Nanacoco doesn’t feel sticky on my lips which is another bonus. I’m seriously surprised that this lip gloss is $4….Where do they sell this!?
I really like this box I have to say. It introduced me to 5 new products I’ve never tried and probably never would of. Sometimes we get stuck in the same old beauty routine and this is a great way to find items that work for you! I AM A FAN now! Another thing I like is the price!
