March Blogging Income Report

March Income Report ($1,060) & Blogging Goals

This is a new feature for me!  I hope it’s helpful and inspiring for some new/small bloggers.  I’ve been blogging for a few years but until recently I never really made any money on my blog.  It was just enough to pay for my host and domain.  I didn’t really feel an income report was worth anyone’s time.

In January, I decided it was time to really make some goals and hit them!  My goal was to make $1,000 a month by December.  Well…I hit my goal in 3 months!!  Yay!!

My current goals are to really focus on SEO and photography. I want to share my stories and connect more with my readers.

After setting my goals, in January I made $300! I was so excited!!

Then in February I made $600. Wow, I doubled my income! 🙂 I didn’t feel like it was worthy of an income report yet.

This month I hit an all time high for my little blog. I made $1,060 in the month of March!  THIS IS HUGE for me!  Blogging is a passion and hobby for me.  I’m a creative person….at least I feel like I am.  Blogging is a creative outlet for me and I LOVE connecting with others, making new blogger friends, and being a part of many online communities!  Overall I love blogging and I think I’m inspiring other writers to also blog!  (That’s you Joey!!) 🙂

I dream of making my blog my full time job…I dream of staying home with my babies and working for myself.  My goal is to make enough to work from home!  IS that too much to ask?  lol   What I really want to accomplish with this post is to share with you is what affiliate programs really do work with small blogs.  So here it is.  This is what I made this month on my blog thought sponsored blog posts, affiliate links and social shares:  (My traffic is around 7,000 UMV just so you know what small is to me).

Influence Central (Influencer network) $100.00

I’m a list person so hopefully my grid makes it easier for your to read 🙂 I also have a list of the affiliate programs that I use listed here.  It’s a google doc, so anyone can access it and link to the affiliate programs I use.  I hope this is helpful for new bloggers and small blogs to show that yes, with some dedication and hard work, you can make your blog profitable!  YOU CAN DO IT!

Please leave any questions you have in the comments or feel free to email me! I’d love to help you get started with your own blog!  If you love to write and connect with others – blogging is for you! 🙂

update: I’ve had a few questions about which host I use to run my blog:  I currently use Host Gator as my host.  If you’re looking for a host, I’ve tried 2, other hosts.  Host Gator has by far the best customer service and the prices are great.  I recommend them to anyone! 🙂

I also use WordPress but used to use blogger.  If you’re serious about blogging, I recommend you start with WordPress and Host with Host Gator! 🙂  It’ll save you the headache and expense of switching your blog over to a new platform.  If this income report was helpful to you….I’d love to hear about it in a comment below!  I love to hear from my readers 🙂
